The Pioneer Woman Ambrosia recipe is my favorite fruit salad. It carries a combination of sugar, sour cream, mandarins, marshmallows, pineapple, pecans, and the crowd-pleaser; maraschino cherries. It’s just the ultimate retro fruit salad dating back to the turn of the century.

This fantastic salad is excellent for hot summer days, pot picnics in the park, or just a good treat any time of the day. It’s great to preserve some in the fridge for those times when the cravings hit.

Why you’ll find it yummy

  • Hints of sweet and sour flavors
  • Perfect crunch and consistency
  • Mixes quickly
  • Easy to fix
  • Best for on-the-go
