Step 1: Preheat and prepare
Preheat your oven to 177℃ and line the baking sheet with the silicone mat or parchment paper and put aside ready to use.
Step 2: Mix your dry ingredients
Mix your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl- flour, baking soda, baking powder, allspice, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and whist thoroughly to combine.
Step 3: Cream the sugar and butter
In another mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, butter, water, vanilla and molasses.
Step 4: Mix dry and wet ingredients
Make a well at the center of the flour mix and pour the butter mixture, stir with a wooden spoon into a soft but slightly sticky dough.
Dust a clean surface with flour and transfer the dough there, knead it into a smooth dough.
Step 5: Finish preparing the dough
Roll the dough to a half inch thickness and cut circular shapes the size of a biscuit. You can use a medium-sized bowl or biscuit cutter
Step 6: Bake and serve
Arrange them on the baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Once baked, brush some melted butter for some glow, allow them to cool and serve.
